I brewed beer about 10 years ago and I’m looking to get back into it. I used a 5 gal crock pot for my primary wart and covered it with saran-wrap. I’d like to upgrade that kind of equipment but not go broke. I have bottles and a capper.
How much would I need to spend to get started with the necessary equipment?

  • Mike:

About $15 will get you a primary bucket, lid, and air lock. I sell 5 gallon stainless steal stock pots for $48.

  • Chris G:

Do you guys carry homebrew kegging equipment? Is there a place in the downingtown area to easily fill co2 tanks?

  • Mike:

Yes, we do sell Homebrew kegging equipment. You can try Marco gas in Exton, and Keen gas in West Chester for refills.

  • Pat:

Will you guys be selling hop rhizomes?

  • Mike:

we will be selling rhizomes, however I still do not know what kind or how many will be available. There is no waiting list or preorders. It will be first come first serve, and I will anounce it on the website and facebook. I expect to know next week(march 8).

Yo. have you decided when the next meeting homebew meeting will be?

  • chris:

    Hey,
Local homebrewer. Just found out about your store. Planning on visiting soon. I buy my grains in bulk (55 pound sacks) and wondered if you ever run a “bulk buy” promotion for increased savings. Thanks!
