A Night of Brewing with Friends.
Although the rain came down and the wind blew wild, the beer went on. Jackie and Jeremy were kind enough to open their garage to a night of brewing. Adam Beck, from Beer Bits 2, was also in attendance. The four of us put together a recipe on the fly, and made changes as we went along. The night wasn’t about brewing a specific beer, rather, it was about friends coming together and having fun brewing something. The night also had a special guest appearance from Larry and Whitney(it was great to have some professionals on premise). Everyone had a role, Jeremy was the scribe and the DJ, Jackie gave Flyers score updates(very important), Adam drank Jeremy and Jackie’s beer, and I did all the important work;-).(JK). In the end, Worm Trail Wheat Ale was born.

Looks like a good time. I have to get a burner like that, electric ain’t cuttin’ it. I’ll see you Thursday at “press time”.
No worms were hurt during the brewing of this beer. Well mostly
Hey wacked7c1a, if you do get one like that you might try a heat shield. As I get used to it, I’m thinking we could really cut down on heat loss.
Adam, by heat shield you’re thinking a skirt around the bottom, yes? I’m with you. Do you know what the BTU rating on the burner you guys use is? There’s a great restaurant supply place in China Town that hass all kinds of burners but I suspect the really serious ones would chew through a propane tank quick.
Boston terriers and beer!
