The ‘Superman’ of IIPA’s

I went to Iron Hill, in West Chester, last night for the monthly BUZZ homebrew meeting.  I was hearing alot of talk about the new double ipa called Kryptonite, so I quickly ordered one.  The aroma was a blast of hops that hit hard, like a comic book caption- POW!  The taste pulls no punches either,- KABOOM!  In my opinion, this could be the greatest IIPA on the east coast.  So, for what it’s worth, I recommend going to Iron Hill before it’s gone.

My sentiments exactly. I was hoping that I didn’t hype it too much! Since Larry and Jean took over in the WC, beers have been on point. BCWC should be a great time this year.

  • woohoo. Thanks for the props gang. We LOVE making that beer. Yesterday we brewed Malthra (American Barley Wine). Can’t wait for Belgium Comes to West Chester Feb 6th. Giddyup.

  • Jean:

    What Larry said.

Definite props to Larry and Jean! I stopped last month to sample their brews and grab some video for a little profile piece i put together. Yeah, the Kryptonite was excellent! Hell, all of the brews were excellent. :) …. Malthra. Hehe, nice. Can’t wait to get back into town to try that!
